Convocation... The time has come :)

Hola readers,

The time has come! It is Convocation Time!

On the afternoon of November 22, 2017, I will be walking on the stage of the University of Alberta to receive my Masters Degree Diploma in Education. The focus of my studies was on Second Language Learning and Curriculum and Pedagogy.
It was a great learning experience and I can't wait to receive my Diploma.

Moving on…

Fidget Spinners

 Hola Readers,

I am sure you have already asked yourself if the ‘fidget spinner” could help your child to focus at school. I have asked myself this same question and wondered if I was doing the right thing every time I asked a student to put their fidget spinner away…

As I am concluding my Masters in Elementary Education, I have researched about this topic to support a few of my assignments for my Program. Recently, I came across a great article written by a professor-researcher with the University of Alberta that discusses the polemic use of a fidget spinner for children’s attention/focus support.
